So this morning i woke thinking of that phrase "think outside the box."And it had me thinking more about this "box".For me,the box signifies those mental confines we cage ourselves into, those limitations tha we impose on ourselves. The box comes about as a result of fear, past experiences, self doubt, negative self talk and in some cases a desperate need for approval from peers.More often than not these limitations deterr us from reaching our goals. But today I'm here with good news everybody-YOU DONT HAVE TO STAY INSIDE THE BOX!!
Think about it for a minute being stuck in a literal box can be terrifying. No matter big the box is,or how comfortable it may seem inside that box, eventually you will want out.So I asked myself this very question im posing to you right now,Why stay inside the box if theres more out there?
I've made a conscious decision to not only think outside the box but to get out of it.The thing is it has to be a personal choice,no one can get you out of the box.You have to get up and find your way out! That idea you've been doubting so much try it out. That job you've been forever afraid to apply for,go ahead and do it.Imagine how much you stand to gain by letting yourself out of the box. After all is it not better to try and learn a lesson than to not have tried at all?Opportunity waltzes with those already on the dance floor I believe. So I'm just here to challenge somebody to open your mind and let the ideas soar.Theres no time like the present to start living the life you want and always dream of...

working on keeping your eye on the prize
More often than not we get distracted. People start on the right path, determined with a plan of action then along the way we meet obstacles. Some of these obstacles seem coincidental, others we create ourselves through habits that we may not want to let go of. They end up creating a web that gets you entangled such that you find yourself welling more on these rather than the main goal. There is therefore a need to be focused, to keep your eye on the prize and do things one at a time. 2nd reason we fail keep our eye on the prize is because we tend to multitask. Is it not best to expend maximum efforts and energies on one main purpose than to scurry in different directions attempting to do plenty. The problem with a multitasking approach is that you will fail to fulfil even one of the minor goals you are chasing. If you focus on one thing there will be fewer losses. Procrastination is the biggest problem when trying to accomplish goals. Work will never do itself, you need to get up and start working, stop procrastinating. Opportunities do not just lie in wait forever. Your opportunity to succeed will pass you by while you procrastinate to tomorrow. You have today so make good use of it.

its me again :)..so today woke feeling a little under the weather..y?well because of a certain smbody I might like.Ok so that it makes sense I met someone like someone I might be really into(a guy). BUT that doesn't necessarily mean he is into me right? So I was in this deep funk annoyed irritated and what not.that is...-Until I realized that I alone am responsible for my happiness. Lots of people(me included) spend half the day checkin the phone, twitter etc hoping to get a message from that one person that'll keep u going. But guess what, that person might be out there doing something with someone else that makes him/her happy. What's my point? My point is be your own person!Stop trying to get that somebody else to put a smile on your face...Do something you love, or love what you do...you gotta yourself up I tell ya.So back to my story this certain someone hasn't called all day(not that I've been waiting) but I have decided im not going to think about it anymore..instead im gonna work on my blog mand well finish off those assignments on my desk....
So till the next time you all take care of yourselves and stop waiting for someone else to!
